BT Deals

My line rental is due at the end of the month. I would like to combine it with the broadband/anytime calls/1571/etc deal I have but every time I speak to Bt I’m told it’s not possible. Living on an island BT are the only people I see doing repairs/installation etc so they are preferred provider but at £60 plus per month I’m finding it rather expensive being a pensioner. Any thoughts

£60 pm for line rental ??
Line rental is monthly  do you mean advanced line rental .
Repairs you see are BTgroup   OPEN REACH they supply the infrastructure for most ISPs

No it’s £60 plus per month total which is pay in advance line rental and broadband with the add ons. Hope that explains the costs.

    Start by looking here
You cannot "combine" everything, they are simply add ons to a basic package at cost.  £60 is expensive though.  Likely most of the providers that use the Openreach infrastructure will supply you.

Thanks for your replies. It looks like to get a better deal on a line rental/broadband/anytime calls/1571/etc Package I will need to look at other suppliers?

If you phone BT retentions in normal times they will offer a deal.
Likewise if you start a switch to another ISP  they may contact you with a better offer .
But Open Reach are on lockdown  , no home visits priority to vulnerable and repairs  . could mean no visit to swap ISP at exchange  . But that may change next week or not .
Better supplier my posted deal is with BT  price negotiated upon threat of leaving .
