Quickest way to get reconnected

Options
After a communication mix up Origin broadband cut my brother's phone and broadband off after  the term ended.  Voucher for bad service sent and that's it.
Shell are saying there weeks. Mum's going spare.  What's the quickest way to get reconnected?

    Can origin reconnect? Or will that not work? Don't want to insist if that's impossible.

    The problem is that to reconnect you Openreach will have to connect you at the exchange and maybe at the cabinet if they have used the line elsewhere and that is if the line is still available.  All you can do is talk to the ISP.

    Yes, 3 weeks is probably first available engineer appointment. Under normal circumstances a lot of appointments are a minimum of 2 weeks, so considering current circumstances that is good.
    I'm not sure if it's actually a breach of conditions, but my neighbour and I have used each other's wifi in emergency situations (loss of connection) in the past. If they have a close neighbour (geographically) that might be an option.  I know here mobile wifi certainly could never be an option where I live at the moment as mobile signal here is dire.
    Indecision is the key to flexibility :)
