Hi I have been with Bulldog for a very long time and never really experienced any major problems with them. I am on Upto 16 meg and I get pretty decent speeds and the connection has always been very stable. But now I am really tempted with Be offering 24 meg and O2 offering 20 meg services dead cheap. I read somewhere that…

You get regular updates and scans. much better than norton. Think i got if from comet, worth looking on web for prices. Make sure it says on the box that its a 3…

Have I still got a BT line?
Hi All, Quick question, I pay my telephone line rental to Sky not BT, does this mean that I no longer have a BT line? My reason for asking is I've just realised after nearly a year that Sky are charging me more for my broadband than I thought they were going to when I signed up originally. I thought I was paying £5 per…

Is deliberate miss-selling a widespread problem?/Broadband packages/bundles
My experiences with various calls to providers certainly highlighted this for me. In one instance We got the person to repeat 3 times what we were being offered, and when I rang back to confirm the next day found it was not correct.

Cancelling TalkTalk during trial period.
Hi, hope someone with experience of this can give me a bit of guidance. After a lot of trouble getting the service set up, I asked Talktalk to extend my 30-day trial period, which they agreed to, so that I now have 5 days left before the deadline. I have an orange mobile contract, & they do a good all-in offer which I…

Any Virgin ADSL users with a good deal?
Has anyone (adsl not cable) managed to haggle a discount without taking up their phone service? It's been stuck at £17.99/£18 for a while, while prices in the rest of the market have dropped (sky/o2/orange etc.). Thanks

BT have wound me up, need some recommendations
Ok Ive had it with BT giving me the run around and giving me the bullshine. Just requested my MAC, its gone beyond a comedy of errors to a bloody greek tragedy. So is Virgin Cable 10meg line actually 10meg, or is it another distance from the exchange dependant connection? What about there throttling? I am really confused…

Orange Mobile Braodband contract
OH has an Orange mobile "broadband" contract (USB dongle which connects via a SIM @ about 500kbps) Her circumstances have changes dramatically in the 3 months she's been in the contract & she can no longer afford it. I tried calling Orange customer services but the chap told me the only way out is to pay the whole lot out…

If I can't get Virgin cable broadband, does that mean I can't get Tiscali?
Just a quick question, I live in a student flat and would rather not pay for our phone line to be connected seen as I'm only here 9 months and I only want internet. I know I'm not able to get Virgin in my area, does that mean I'm not likely to get Tiscali either? Is there any other companies where you don't need a phone…

Who do I choose?
I've just recently moved into a flat which had Orange broadband, who also provided our landline. After weeks of ringing them up and filing a complaint with OfCom, they've finally removed the tags from the line and I'm now able to move to a new provider. I've just ordered the Umlimited Evening & Weekend Calls plan from BT.…
