McAfee internet security is very good, highly recommended. You can use it on 3 pieces of equipment (laptops and pcs) and it cost me £25 altogether few weeks ago. You get regular updates and scans. much better than norton. Think i got if from comet, worth looking on web for prices.
Make sure it says on the box that its a 3 user licence.

Sorry but McAffee is absolutely shocking and isn't worth 25p let alone £25.
You would be much better of saving your money and using free ones such as avg combined with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as they will do just a good a job if not better.0 -

Kapersky - regularly gets good reviews from PC mags and isn't too heavy on RAM
Norton 2009 - Sounds good as it uses a form of whitelisting which means it has to scan your PC a lot less and therefore uses much less system resources.
