Bulldog or O2 or Be???

I have been with Bulldog for a very long time and never really experienced any major problems with them. I am on Upto 16 meg and I get pretty decent speeds and the connection has always been very stable. But now I am really tempted with Be offering 24 meg and O2 offering 20 meg services dead cheap. I read somewhere that both o2 and Be provides the same connection, but was still wondering why Be provides upto 24 meg and o2 only upto 20 meg? I know its not going to make much of a difference. I have an o2 contract and could get the o2 broadband real cheap. What do you think of their services? Just wanted some assistance from you guys.. What do you guys suggest? Stick to Bulldog or O2 or Be????

Have been with o2 for a couple of months now and can't fault them.Also have great CS.

always had bad luck with ISPs until i went with O2, they just get it right. Civilised staff and fairly cheap to boot. Go go go.

Bulldog CS is the worst I have ever seen! Heard real good reviews about o2 so far..

I am a heavy user.. I mean.. I download a lot... Would that be a problem on o2?

And is there no major difference in speeds for o2 and Be?

o2 use Be's network. I'm on o2's 8Mps service. Download speed where I live varies between just over 5000Mbps to just under 4000Mbps. If I look at email headers they go through bethere servers. I guess if you are happy with Bulldog, then unless you are looking to save; well don't mend what's not broken. Otherwise o2 is very good, especially if you have an o2 mobile, unlike me! I'm actually thinking of getting an o2 SIM and having my Virgin PAYG unlocked. If I choose the right PAYG tarrif, I would save overall.

You mean 5mbps to 4 mbps, right?

O2 bought the Be network, I assume it's more an advertising gimmick, the number f people who can get 24Mg on Be is fairly limited as you need to be very close to teh exchange. For 20Meg it covers a bigger area, obviously O2 also see it as the wasier way to market themselves against Virgin as a big competitor. Be has always been a niche market, whilst they are cheap, they are still more than O2. If someone looks to switch from Virgin for an extra 4Meg it will be hard to sway teh same price or thereabouts for not much extra. if O2 can offer the same speed but for £12 or whatever it's an easy marketing ploy.

Both offer a good service, depends which of the offers you prefer from the two companies. They differ slightly, costs differ, all depends which suits you best

Being an extensive user, I am after higher speeds... And unlimited access.. Even if I have to pay a little bit more.. So would Be or O2 be a better choice?

Another thing I noticed... When I give my number on their website and check the speeds available, o2 comes up with 'Upto 16 meg' and Be comes up with 'Upto 24 meg'. For £3 extra, if I could get more speeds.. I might as well consider Be. What do you guys say?
