Hi, I'm looking to move my internet and possibly telephone provider. I'm currently with BT for both (option 3 for phone). I was looking at Sky but don't know anyone who already has it to ask their advice, and I've been hearing negative reports about Talk Talk. Can anyone help with the Sky issue.....is it worth it, does it…

BT Vision questions
Thinking of signing up for BT Vision...hoping someone can help me with answers to a few questions. Does anyone know if it's possible to record 2 programs whilst watching a previously recorded program (like the Humax does)? If the broadband connection drops, will BT Vision be affected? Is surfing speed affected by BT Vision?

We have just moved into our first house and we have set up a new account with BT and have been given a new phone number. However, when I use this number to try and get broadband on many ISPs websites it says that there is already an existing broadband connection on that phone number and I need to get a MAC code to enable…

Using my exhange info, which ISP is for me?
http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange.php?ecode=SLWAD Thats the state of my ADSL exchange. I'm currently on 8MBmax, unlimited bandwidth, for £24pm I rarely experience more than 3mb so could live with a 2mb ISP but my usage as a gamer is 20gb per month so anything less from an ISP is out of the question.

Plusnet drop 'you stay we pay'
If you took advantage of the 'free' connection and modem deal from Plusnet (free=pay us back when you leave), Plusnet have now dropped this and anyone who has been with Plusnet for at least 12 months can leave without paying back the modem and connection fee. http://www.plus.net/residential/broadband/freesetup_bbyw.shtml

The guy I just spoke to said that I could have it on a 12 month contract as long as my tariff is £30. I have to wait to get my…
