BT Vision questions

Thinking of signing up for BT Vision...hoping someone can help me with answers to a few questions.
Does anyone know if it's possible to record 2 programs whilst watching a previously recorded program (like the Humax does)?
If the broadband connection drops, will BT Vision be affected?
Is surfing speed affected by BT Vision?

surfing speed is affected as it eats up bandwidth, can recover from connection drops
think you need a minimum speed of 2megEx forum ambassador

Yes you can record two programmes whilst watching a 3rd recorded ( or on demand programme )
If the broadband is not availalble, on-demand content and the EPG will not be available. This means scheduled recordings wont work. The EPG is however far better than standard Freeview.
Surfing speed is affected while on-demand content is being watched - a chunk of you bandwidth is reserved for on-demand but released afterwards0
