Free Orange BB on a 12 month contract

I have just signed up for a mobile 12 month free deal with Orange, so thought I'd see what I could get their BB for as it states on their website you only get free BB with an 18 month contract. The guy I just spoke to said that I could have it on a 12 month contract as long as my tariff is £30. I have to wait to get my mobile number and mac code, before he can sign me up.

Checkout OrangeProblems and DSL ZoneUK ISP ratings scroll down they are at the bottom of the list and check customers comments for Orange before you commit to their 12 month contract.

    Good luck

Just phoned Orange and the girl said I'm not entitled to free broadband unless i extend the contract to 18 months, I know other people on here have got it on a 12 month contract, how did you manage it? I've just got a 12 month free line rental deal with osps, so don't want to jeopardise the cashback by extending the contract

Don't know about 12 month free broadband (I've got 18 months) but suggest you wait until the end of the current contract for th reason you gave.

I've just phoned Orange again and the girl spoke to her manager and said that I can have free broadband as I am an existing customer. I only ordered my mobile on Tuesday on a 12 month free deal with osps, so have only been a customer for a few days.

I confirmed with her and also with the broadband registration girl that I was entitled to free broadband or for £5 with the livebox even though I was on a 12 month mobile contract and that I did not have to extend my contract to 18 months and was told yes by both of them, so signed up. The broadband girl confirmed that the mobile and broadband were both 12 month contracts.

Now I'll have a mobile, broadband and phone calls, all for £5 + £10.75 BT line rental a month. What a bargain !!!

I just phoned Orange re getting free broadband with a 12 month contract and was told that it is in their full Terms and Conditions that it is available with a 12 month contract so don't take no for an answer.

I was also told that with an 18 month contract you get twice the free minutes and texts for the same money per month that you do with a 12 month contract, so if you are a heavy mobile user it may be cheaper to go 18 months anyway.

I too get free broadband on a 12month cashback contract.

As far as I was aware you need to ring the broadband department NOT customer services. If you ring customer services they will swear blind you need an 18 month contract to qualify but the broadband department will sort it all out for you on a 12 month. HTH

I use Virgin at £15 per month (including VAT :-).

My deal is actually packaged as £15 sim card which includes 150 min + 150 free texts + free broadband.
