Anyone else having issues with Hargreaves Lansdown web site using latest version of Firefox?
Maybe slightly off-topic (and apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum), but I've just come back off holiday and noticed that my Firefox browser has updated to the latest version (152.0.5 (64-bit)). When I log into Hargreaves Lansdown and click on any of my investment accounts, the tabs load, but none of the actual…

Security Phone calls
I can't access my NSandI account, as when they make the security phone call to send the access code, the call doesn't come through. I've tried it many times, and it still doesn't work. I've complained to them, and they say it happens sometimes. It's happening every time, so I can't get into my account. I have the App on my…

Skipton new app
Skipton have published a new app which I was notified of when logging-in on the old app this morning, it's called "SBS by invite" on the App Store, and seems simple enough to set up and start using, one improvement I can see is the ability to view closed accounts… Shame I only have their easy access with a £1 balance in…

Better to move savings from a Cash ISA for this Lloyds offer?
Hi all, Lloyds have offered a £75 bonus if I open a savings a/c at 3% AER with £2001 for 6 months. To do it, I'd move money from a flexible Cash ISA at 4.19%. I'm a basic rate tax payer but am within the £5K interest allowance. Is this something I should consider? (My mind is muddled with the math.) Many thanks. :)

When is monthly interest on a fixed rate bond 1+ years actually counted by HMRC for tax liability?
For example a one year fixed rate bond that will pay interest monthly to an external account. There are nine months before the tax hike from 20% to 22% in April 2027. So potentially nine months of interest taxed at the 20% rate before the new rate next year. Then three months interest at 22%? But do HMRC actually receive…

Should I sell up. These…
