I prefer a mobile friendly website shortcut on my home screen to having an app installed on my phone. That way it's not using much space, doesn't need updating, less likely to crash, etc.2

Hardly ever fire up the laptop these days.
Tablet is lightening fast to 'boot up' , much easier to read, and less likely to lose or damage since kept at home.
Websites, with all the bother of logins and passwords, seem very last century by comparison.1 -
Family Building Society, had a 120 day notice account with them last year!
Horrible user experience on mobile, half the page cut off! Tedious to use! Zooming in/out!
Banking apps every time!
Open in seconds, automatic updates, everything at your fingertips,
keep all Banking apps together on phone!0 -

The 12 inch tablets give me phone app functionality, easier to interface with the large keys and to read in the large format, but perhaps this is an 'old codger' requirement 😇4 -

Vanquis Bank doesn't have an app.1

Manchester Building Society is on the list, but it is pretty much defunct. It was rescued by Newcastle Building Society a year ago and hadn't been allowed to offer new mortgages for years before that; and no savings accounts have been available for opening since it was taken over. So I'd suggest you could remove it.2
