I use Skipton BS from a desktop PC, without installing the app. The Skipton also offers passbook accounts.1

Ecology app due by end of year
It’s important we have your up to date email address and mobile number so you can easily access the new Ecology App later in the year.

Hopefully some others will release apps soon.
I'm really surprised Principality still haven't got one yet, mind you they still seem to require bank statements to authenticate nominated accounts, ended up closing a double access the other day to get money out from easy access & double access.
If Principality can see where money that's paid into accounts comes from surely they don't still need bank statements?.
They can also see external accounts exist when you close Principality accounts.

Seems Swansea Building Society got an app this month so I've now removed it from the list0

It was rescued by Newcastle Building Society a year ago and hadn't been allowed to offer new mortgages for years before that; and no savings accounts have been available for opening since it was taken over. So I'd suggest you could remove it.

It's welcome that there'll be another building society branch in Manchester city centre because at present there are only two, YBS and Leeds ....... both of which are in Cross Street about 100m from the new MBS ....... since Skipton closed down when the rent was tripled and it became yet another Greggs.
I hope they come up with some decent savings products to make the whole exercise worthwhile. Years ago the MBS had very good rates for savings.0 -
