Just tried the Monmouthshire app, it needs work, registering seems long winded but got there in the end, however the 2 factor thing for text message doesn't work properly, you tap the thing to request a code, it sends the code but doesn't advance to next screen to enter code, tap again it sends another code and it does advance to next screen to enter code.

The date format for transactions needs changing.

It seems the app marketing preferences when you 1st start aren't saved, because I went into settings and they were all greyed out.

It seems a chat function is on the way.

Anyone know the minimum amount of money that you can get out of Monmouthshire?, got 2p in interest to get out, lol
    2FA text worked for me
had the same issue with marketing settings
It was £1 online - don’t know about the app

I experienced these two issues as well. Plus I question the value of having a 2FA text message if already using a biometric login.

Still, it is only v0.05 of the app so let's hope these issues are fixed soon.

Seems Skipton are getting a new app, currently it's only available to mortgage customers, just stumbled upon it on Google play.

It's a shame that the Skipton employee who drafted this didn't know the word invitation.

Principality BS will be launching their app before the end of 2026.

We're building the Principality app. Your society, in your pocket. And before we launch it to everyone at the end of 2026, we're looking for 200 members to get early access, try it out, and help us make it the best it can be.

    Here's what to expect:

You'll use your face or fingerprint to log in - no more passwords

You'll be able to check your accounts, move money, and manage your savings on the go

You'll see the app evolve, feature by feature, and your feedback will shape what comes next
