Fund & Share to a SIPP: is it a good idea?
Good morning. I inherited ½ of my dear latest’s ISA (with Hargreaves Lansdown;
let’s call it HL for brevity). But as we didn’t make it to get
married, I had to open a regular Fund & Share account, also with
HL’s platform, where his ½ of the ISA was transferred into. I’ve
already transferred some of the shares into my HL…

Transfer Sipp from HL to Fidelity
I am thinking of transferring my SIPP from HL to Fidelity and take advantage of their cashback offer. I am assuming there will not be any exit fee to pay HL? Fidelity states that the cashback will be paid 90 days after 05.04.2026, so I can leave after the cashback has been paid should I wish to?

I joined the class action with Harcus Parker for redress from the Woodford catastrophe which to cut a long story short was not heard in court and instead redress was made via FCA. Reducing HMRC Payments on Account
A quick bit of background: Having filed my Self-Assessment Tax Return for TY24/25 last May, I am faced with a Self Assessment 'Payment Due' of approx £3000, of which £2000 is income tax for TY24/25 and the remaining £1000 being the first payment on account for TY25/26. Certificate of Interest - Self Assessment
I was doing my Self Assessment and started checking my Bank Account for Interest I got in 2024-2025 - unlikely to be anywhere near HMRC allowance.
