Historical performance of VLS60 vs AMS25 Active LS 60

So having entered my above portfolio into Trustnet (keen I know:j) I get this performance outcome:

    VLS60
    AMS25 Active

    6m... 1.3%---- 6.1%
    1yr... 6.9%
    13.3%
    3yrs... 31.5%.... 55.0%

For what it is worth the Trustnet FE risk score is 61 for VLS60 and 63 for my portfolio.. which is surprisingly close and provides some comfort that this is a viable comparison.

Will provide the updates here as we move forward.

Perhaps unfortunately, this is not my total portfolio which is more balanced/cautious overall (but it does mean I sleep better at night)

Likewise, hence my SIPP is pro-active. I'll add my portfolio later on in the weekend.

My active 60:40 portfolio, with the same stock/bond and regional asset allocations as Vanguard 60:40:

    AMS25 60:40: 102,085 +2.09%
    Vanguard 60:40: 102,071 + 2.07%

    could not be closer.....:D

The AMS25 equity only (60%) performance was +2.94%, and the bond component +0.77%
best performers on approx 5%+ each were Fidelity Emerging, Fundsmith and Stewart Asia Pac Leaders. Laggards on approx 0.5% were Woodford Equity Income and JO Hambro CM opps.

Data is according to Trustnet from 29/9 to 1/11, which also gives a 1 year performance number of 15.2% for the AMS25 60:40 and 8.3% for Vanguard LS 60:40. It will be interesting to see if this out performance is still intact in a year's time.
