Back to the Royal Mail share saga; As a dissenter, which I am not, I eventually received some paperwork from eq. So being a good person I responded as requested. I sent my share certificate and signed the required paper. This went in the post tracked and was received by them on 3 November. Their paperwork stated that they would pay the share money owed within 10 days. After not hearing from them for a month, I called to ask for an update. Excuses after excuses, but miraculously my problem was dealt with the previous day. Today 11 December no cheque or payment has been received. Is someone making money from this sluggish repayment? I wonder how much money is in the dissenters coffers run by eq or their masters. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help, or how to get them to pay out? Thanks0

Update. As of today 30 January 2026, still no payment from EQ. They say over the phone that there is still a backlog and payment could be made by the end of February. Banditry is what this seems to be, someone wants to be fired for this disgraceful withholding of funds.

If you have already complained to Equiniti, you can escalate the issue to the Financial Ombudsman.
