Moneybox LISA
Can anyone advise what the trick is to find the right place on Moneybox's app to create a LISA. I am already feeling like I would be walking into a zero support agreement with them as they don't have manged support and it should never feel like the crystal maze to do business with a bank.

Martin Lewis: Cash ISA limit could be cut – this is 'p*ss people off economics'
Reports in various newspapers, including the Financial Times, suggest that the Chancellor Rachel Reeves will announce a cut to the £20,000 cash ISA limit during her Mansion House speech on Tuesday 15 July. MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis has reacted to the news, calling the potential cut "a mistake". Read the…

Accidentally transferred money into junior ISA
I’ve accidentally transferred an my universal credit payment into my son’s junior isa, which only had £64 in (he’s 10). The bank (nationwide) have said they can’t give it back as it now belongs to the child but it was a genuine mistake. I was trying to move it to my savings account but I clicked the isa instead. Is there…

New ISA limit 2025 - Fixed rate ISA
When (if?) the new rules come in regarding a £5k or £4k limit on cash ISA's, what happens when you get near top maturity on a fixed term ISA with more than that amount? Will you be able to transfer the whole amout or just $5k or£4k?

ISAs - Leave in Cash? Or move to S&S?
My partner and I each have around £80k in cash ISAs. We also have around £200k each in savings accounts. We don’t pay tax on our interest as neither of us are working. So we are looking for a way to take a small income (£2k a month maybe) from our savings, but also put some money into investments for the longer term. We…

Has Tembo lost my LISA funds? Being ignored by them!
To keep it brief: about four weeks ago, I initiated a transfer of my LISA funds from Moneybox to Tembo in order to take advantage of a better interest rate. For the past week and a half, my Moneybox balance has shown £0. Their customer service team has confirmed that the transfer was completed successfully on their end.…

5K - Where do I put it?
I've got 5k left to put into an ISA for this year (Currently have 15 in Marcus) Debating whether or not to look at a fixed rate (4.32 Hodge Bank) or would it be better to still go with the variable (Trading 212/Plum at 4.98) I know it's a gamble and it's the classic crystal ball scenario. What would others do/suggest here?

New ISA time or carry on Trading 212 4.1%
Hi all, taking a breather indoors from being out and about in hot weather, to look at finances, looking at best ISA options for the 2025/2026 tax year - already got a LISA with HL which I'll put £4k into, leaving £16k remaining in this years allowance. - already got Trading 212 ISA from 2024/2025 tax year, circa £15k…

Principality BS Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA - new Iss 5.
I have had one of these accounts for about a year. During that time, the interest rate has dropped from 5% to 4.15%. Today I discovered there is now a new 'Issue 5' account with the same name paying 4.4%. There was no email notification of this - I only found out by accident. To get the better rate you can open a new…

HL Active Savings ISA - Transfers?
Hi, How do ISA transfers work with HL's Active Savings, both transfers between HL and unrelated banks, and also transfers between banks but all with Active Savings? Can you even do those "internal" transfers? I was surprised to see that some of their options accept transfers (Castle Bank) but some don't.

Reeves' ISA review
Will be interesting to see what comes of this. Potentially restricting the amount of cash one can hold in an ISA or reducing the cash ISA allowance to just £4k. I think its important to try demystify some of the (often incorrect) concerns about investing, so that these potential change(s) actually encourage more people to…

Withdrawing cash from a Fixed ISA
Hi all, I was wondering what the best way to get some cash out of my fixed ISA. It’s about to mature and they don’t allow partial withdrawals so I would have to close it. So I’m thinking maybe wait till it matures, transfer it to a cash ISA, take some cash out, and then immediately transfer it again to another fixed ISA to…

ISA transfer funds issue
I have a matured fixed ISA with Shawbrook Bank, which has now been moved by them to an easy access ISA. I completed the ISA transfer online form with Virgin. Three times now it has been rejected by Shawbrook Bank with the reason that the funds are current year and not previous year monies? On the Virgin online form there…
