As probably already said, there is too much space, it's not clear when looking at the page which of the threads I have bookmarked, I have to struggle to see the 'new' and how many replies - I sometimes use this as a guide to decide if it's worth reading. There is too much scrolling involved. I'm using a tablet and it gives me RSI. There are not enough threads on a page. I really think the right hand panel is a total waste of space. As I'm using a tablet and I'm right handed I sometimes click on a link on the right panel by mistake as I'm scrolling and it takes me to a different page. I have spent less time on this forum in the past couple of days as I just get bored with the scrolling now.1

I'm not sure who to contact but I'd like to propose a user forum where members of the public can post ideas for manufacturers to evaluate and use if appropriate. For example why do kettles take so long to switch off? And why not re-introduce hot & cold feeds for washing machines? A huge amount of energy can be saved by changing this...0

I view the forum on a PC, not a mobile, and I'm afraid I find the new design so awful to read and navigate that it is now putting me off using it.
Edit - The most annoying thing for me is that every time I move the mouse across my screen, for example to use my browser 'back' button, when it passes over the top page menu containing 'Quick Links - Categories - Forum Rules - Help', without any input from me it automatically shows submenus. It's very annoying.5 -

AlwaysLearnin said:I REALLY miss the ability to be able to mark all posts on all the boards I follow as 'Read' in one go. This facility enabled me to mark where I’d got up to, making it easier to find where I needed to go back to on the next visit.
Is there any way that the time could perhaps be added to the date for latest posts prior to the current day? That at least would enable users to go back to roughly the time they last looked (particularly if it was the previous evening), rather than having to go in and out of posts to see which was the nearest to their last visit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. This may have already been mentioned but...
I have a number of boards marked as 'favourite' (now called 'followed content'.
I usually look at this list to see if any new threads have been posted.
This used to be easy as the date and time of the latest post was shown.
If no new content, I just pass that board by.
However, with this new version, my 'followed content' does not show any date or time information.
It just shows what the latest post is. That may be 3 weeks old on a quiet board.
It does however inform me that I started following a particular board on dd/mm/yy and that there are xxxx discussions on that board.
What use is that information to anyone?
So now I have to go into the board to see if there are any new threads/posts that I may be interested in.

OK so there are all these ideas about how we as forum users can change and make the forum better but surely we shouldn't have to do that.
A forum as long established and well used as this should be user friendly .
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.3 -
Re the notification issues mentioned in the last couple of pages - just to say we are aware and investigating. Please bear with us.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com4
