Was this designed by somebody who has never used a forum in their life ? Its so bizarre how in almost every area its worse than previous. Too bright, navigation is now worse, trying to determine previously read is difficult, too much whitespace, too much scrolling etc.
I suspect that however despite the overall majority (must be 90% plus posts criticising it on this thread), nothing much will change except a few tweaks here and there.1 -

Oh dear it doesn't look like its a hit!!!!
Maybe it will do in a bit
Sooo LOL. I'll add a verse then:
It doesn't look like it's a hit!!!!
Not many seem to relish-it
(MSE, it's meant in fun - pleeeease don't take offense. Perhaps a bit of banter might 'lighten' things a bit.)

I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.8 -
Don't like this new forum at all. Big gaps between posts, replies don't flow very well. Why do you need in front of every post the posters name, how many posts they have, their accolades, if their a forumite then underneath that the day and time posted and only then do you get to the actual message posted.Colour scheme is making my eyes blurry, grey, lighter grey(could be blue who knows) and white.1

Maybe we've all inadvertently joined the Money Scrolling Expert forum.6

Disney World
hair extensions
lilies
something about travel questions
money moral dilemma, something about income and child benefit
I didn't realise I needed to see these before reading the forum0 -
For those posting about this thread being overwhelmingly negative:That's always expected; people who don't like something new shout about it, those who don't have a strong opinion either way don't shout.
So things tend to look one sided.Yes, I have issues with the new forum myself, and have posted some of them here.
The test will be how quickly the issues that are reported get sorted out.I wouldn't expect everything though, some of the criticism here is more personal opinion/preference rather that actual bugs.1 -

It's simply mind-boggling that "report bugs" is in the same thread.
There should have been a thread dedicated to "report bugs" and one for "new features"
Clearly the staff are only responding the the "bugs" and nothing so far about "feedback" but any bug reporting can get lost in the mountain of complaints.

Absolutely awful changes for no reason whatsoever - it’s goodbye from me!1

I only ever use the site using mobile, so have no idea how bad it may look on a pc .
I've no real issues. For anyone talking about too many pictures, I never see them. All you need to do is go to your list of followed content, which used to be called Favourites. Just bookmark that page in your browser. Then you'll just go straight to it.
From there, if you actually want to, you can always go back to view all boards , or the home page.1
