How many backwards steps has this new version created?
    Limited testing is to blame.
Not enough (if any) regular posters were engaged in the update.
This has lead to features being removed due to the testers chosen not using that feature, thereby not knowing it had been removed.

All they can do is troubleshoot once it's pointed out that it has been removed.
Sometimes an update to the update can restore the feature, sometimes it's gone forever.

     uBlock Origin

Wow! Thanks for that, not just for this site but for everywhere. I've been using Ad Block Pro but it has been becoming less and less effective recently.
With uBlock you can also right click, and zap them  and add it that way to remove different items (on PC/Laptop)

I've been very busy with it and removed most of the stuff to the right.
Also removed the pointless badges next to the names to make it less cluttered.

Add the following line to uBlock Origin and your issue with the width and main content being off to the left should be fixed:

    The new look seems amateur
    So much wasted space
And the contrast is horrible. UI guys really messed up

    Disapointing

If anybody is using uBlock Origin to customise the appearance of these forums, these rules are what I am using to restore the forum back to something I can just about get away with:

Hehe! Pure genius. So it's rewriting the CSS stuff on the fly? How did I not know about this before?

Suddenly the forum looks much cleaner and makes much better use of my wide screen.

Absolutely delighted that after logging on today I saw:

and I indeed had 2 new notifications.

I hope this also works for messages (and continues to work properly)

Notifications appear to have stopped working from about 5pm today - I imagine it's a work in progress?
I thought that everybody had gone very quiet!  Although I had masses of e-mail notifications up until yesterday evening, there hasn't been a single one today. So I logged in and ploughed my way through to the list of Bookmarked Threads, and found that there has actually been loads of activity.  But the e-mails have stopped;  and the little bell in the TRH corner is still saying "You do not have any notifications yet".  I remember this happened during the previous update;  but there is nothing more designed to doom a forum than its members not knowing that anybody else has posted anything!

Hi @MollyR (and others) - just in case you didn't spot my message a few pages back, I can confirm we're aware of the email notification issue which we are currently exploring with our software suppliers.

No - nothing here. Still yesterday's notifications. Maybe that was a blip.
