On my PC it appears that the quicklinks on the top toolbar does now retract itself if I move off, so I don't have to try and find a spot on the page away from any links to click to make it go.It still triggers too easily IMO (would prefer a click & drop) but it seems better than it was.1

Feedback on the new forum:Annoyingly, the bug where the paragraph spacing in posts is different from in the editor has still not been fixed. Why does a line break in the editor turn into a paragraph break in the post, resulting in silly spacing you can see here and in other posts above?A comment on the new layout: in the list of threads in a particular board, the titles are in a font that is too similar in size, font weight and colour to the line that says "Started by So-and-So". This makes it much harder on the eye and brain to scan the titles for interesting threads. The list of categories themselves doesn't have this issue: the title is larger, bolder and in the slight blue-green colour so is much more readable. Is it possible to change the thread title font, or do I need to resort to userContent.css?

forums.moneysavingexpert.com##div.panelWidget.css-i8sers-panelWidgetStyles-root:nth-of-type(1)
forums.moneysavingexpert.com##div.panelWidget.css-28vcxy-panelWidgetStyles-root:nth-of-type(2)

forums.moneysavingexpert.com##.css-1vobhhz-Section-styles-mainPanelWidget
forums.moneysavingexpert.com##.css-kcxou1-Section-styles-secondaryPanelWidgetIf you still want to see the Quick Links down the right, just remove the couple of entries above ending with "(2)". Unfortunately it brings back a couple of pictures but at least it gets rid of most of them.1 -
Just to note that whilst the above is a good avdert for uBlock other adblockers can also do the same.
Although the syntax used will be different. For example: I have AdBlock (not AdblockPlus) in Firefox on this laptop.
Right-clicking on 'Quick Links' or 'Categories' or anything else brings up a context menu from where I can tell Adblock to Block/Hide them.
It does call it 'Block this Ad' because ad's are what it expects you want to block.
It also lets you Hide anything on a page that you don't want to see.I'm not going to do that at the moment though - because you shouldn't have to - I'm waiting to see if/what the forum admin do about it.

We really shouldn't have to jump through those hoops to get a usable forum though, should we.
It should just work, straight from the box. ☹️How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)11 -
