Okay guys...

Now that we've managed to collect a significant amount of useful data in the experimental One Stop Phone Shop cashback ratings poll I reckon it's worth extending the same poll to other retailers.

With this in mind, I thought it would be sensible to do this one retailer at a time, starting with the newest retailer on the block, Mobile Rainbow. This is a retailer that has had very little feedback on Ka7e's two cashback received and cashback lost polls. It would be good if we could rectify that situation here. Based on the level of discussion about this retailer on the forums, I would expect far more of a response than Ka7e has had.

This company is so new (it only hit most people's radars last summer) that I imagine people will currently only be able to comment based on their first cashback claim. If you're one of these people, it is still worth placing your vote on that basis as there are plenty of people waiting to see how the first set of cashbacks are handled. We could always reissue the poll at a later date and contact all existing respondents via PM to request that they recast their votes.

  • Thanks to mpazza for being the first to place his vote - let's hope this is the first of many votes as there is precious little information online about the reliability of this company due to its young age.

    C'mon guys (and gals) - let's get the information rolling in.

    Then again, maybe the lack of feedback is because you are all STILL waiting for your first cashback and you wouldn't want to call it either way just yet. If that is true then it's a very ominous sign in my books.

    i've just voted...i'm about 2 months away from my very first cashback with Mobile Rainbow. fyi, have met a guy on rpoints forum, he received his first cashback but had to hustle them w/o resorting to legal measures.

    and, thanx for setting up the poll and consolidating all relevant threads on this retailer!

    Be aware... it states in their T&Cs that all cashback claims must match the address that the mobile was first sent to... so if you move house at all during the year then you will loose the ability to claim any cashback from that point on.

    I emailed them and they confirmed this, as i thought there was no way it could be true... i'm moving next month and so if i'd gone for the deal without noticing then I would have been entitled to no cashback whatsoever.

    Shame, as they have the best deals on the phones/tarriffs i want.

    Just noticed this too. I was hoping to get the phone delivered to work, guess I'll have to collect it from the sorting office instead.

    I'm sure there are more than 2 people on this forum who have taken the risk with Mobile Rainbow already (Ka7e's poll is living proof of that fact).

    It would be nice if you could add your vote here as there are plenty of people waiting to see the outcome of their first round of cashbacks.

    I am due a cashback anytime now into my bank account. I have sent my 6th month bill at beginning of April. I have received an email from their CS on 12th April, saying they have received my bill and the cashback should be in my account by 12th May 06, so I have 4 days to received this. Will advise on outcome
