Anybody used Mobile Rainbow??

Hello,

I saw a good deal on Mobile rainbow-sony Erricson k750i on a 12 months contract, 9 months line rental FREE and £30 after that. This works out to be £90 for the whole year. 400 mins and 200 texts for the first 3 months; and after that 200 mins and 100 texts. £90 will be refunded at months 6, 9 and 12 via cashback.

I ordered my phone from Mobile rainbow on Tuesday, expecting it to disptach on Wednesday and be with me on Thursday as the T+C state that phones are sent free next day delivery using Royal Mail special delivery. When I had completed my order I noticed I didn't get a confirmation email or nothing like that. There wasn't even a place on the website to track your order.

On wednesday I got a phone call from them. It was a woman with an Indian accent I could barely understand. She went over the contract with me and then said spent about 10 minutes trying to persuade me to take out the insurance for the phone which I didn't want. Then she said that delivery would take up to 5 working days.

Has anybody successfully received cashback from them? Anybody not received cashback? Thanks in advance!

Why did you cancel your order? As far as I can see nobody has not received cashback from these guys. Ok, so they're not a big company but is that really that big a deal

? Their deals are good....I'm still debating whether to cancel or not....

Just out of interest how did you cancel? Was there any hassle? Any cancellation fees? I've ordered my phone and got the confirmation call from them yesterday. Will I be able to cancel the contract before they send out the phone or will I have to wait until they ship it out and then send it back? Thanks.

If I a reading correctly from the thread given about the company is that one needed to wait 15 days for the voucher and the voucher hasnt come. Hmmmm and you needed to give them photocopies of your quarterly bills(every 3rd billing) to recieve the voucher. Sounds like alot of time and work just for a voucher.

I've read somewhere else that they sent the cashback vouchers a month after receiving the phone...I'm sure I can manage to chase that up with them if I need to.

As for sending quaterly bills, I can't find anywhere in the T+C that state this, But it's not too much trouble as they're just photocopies...

All I want to know has anybody RECEIEVED cashback from them? Has anybody NOT RECEIVED cashback???

Well, I received my phone today, everything is excellent and the cashback vouchers were with it. I am very happy right now, and will let everybody know how my contract goes.

So, the first cashbacks are about to payout and suddenly their telephone lines stop working

Why do you need their telephone number to redeem cashback? If you need to contact them send them an email. Let us know how you get on.

keep us updated (I've gone for Mobile Outlet and will also keep everyone updated; there's not near enough information about these little companies on here, so no-one gives 'em a chance!
