Reduced water pressure in South Staffs?
Anyone else covered by South Staffs notice reduced water pressure the last day or so? Had no warning, but assume it's to conserve water supplies with the oncoming heatwave and all. Now if only we could get reduced water rates too....

The meter was fitted in error on a joint supply in the pavement so has had to be taken out, no charges are being made for the reading on the meter thankfully. The meter cant go inside the house so they have put me down for assessed charges. I had a look in my South Staffs water booklet and for a terraced house or flat its…

Old water bill debt
Please help or advise. We have just received a letter from what appears to be a debt collection agency. It states that we owe £569 and have a CCJ against us for this amount. When we contacted the company we were directed back to the provider who inform us that this amount relates to an address that we moved from in 1997…

Water Bill 1000£ A Year - Ripoff!
Hi. Dunno if this is the right place on this site for this mesage. My mother is paying 1000£ per year for water rates. This astronomical figure has come from installing a water meter. I've just rung Welsh Water to arrange a direct debit to pay the amount and was told the…

Six months later our water bill had gone up as our useage had increased. I told anglian Water about the leak but they said that since it had been fixed our useage was still high.…

My water rates...
I've never once paid water rates. Why? Because I live in a flat in a communal building. As far as I know it is going to be impossible for the water board to cut off my supply and as the house on the other end of the block is about 8 times bigger than my flat (and I live alone), I don't see why I should pay the same on my…
