Water pressure

This is probably a really stupid question but over the past few days the water pressure has dropped dramatically. Could it mean my gas boiler needs topping up ? its on the no.2 mark but it was on 3, would that makes such a difference as the pressure seems to of halved? sorry to sound a bit thick:o

Why not put it back to "3" and see what happens ?0

I have tried to only the guy that fixed it and serviced it has tightened the screw so tight i can't get it off and have to wait now for someone to be free and armed with a screw driver:o0
