Ring your local water company. Some areas do a low user discount or special discounts for disabled.
  • Ring your water company, tell them you want a meter fitted, they can then send you an application form to fill in.
Once you have filled in the form they will arrange for a surveyor to come round and see if it possible to install a water meter (sometimes not possible if you are in a flat or on a common supply). There is quite a demand for water meters at the moment so you may have to wait about 3 months for the installation.
Also when you phone your water co they will be able to give you an estimate of how much your bills will cost on a meter.

As above - contact your water supplier.

But might be worth using this checker first, to determine that you are likely to save? :-

If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
