London to Dorset - Interesting Stops?
Guys, we're off to Dorset in a few days, Seatown, just outside Bridport to be specific. A new location for us. When travelling to Cornwall we often stop at Otter Valley field kitchen - a, suggestion I received from here I believe. Great place! Anyone have any ideas of decent stops on the way? Either for a nice lunch, or…

I'm looking for something affordable but still decent quality.
I'm thinking about getting into gel blasting as a hobby and had a question for other gel blaster enthusiasts. What are some of the best gel blaster models for beginners? I'm looking for something affordable but still decent quality. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Recommendations for young children in Birmingham City Centre
Hello, I've booked a cheap family room at the Premier Inn at New Street Station in Birmingham during the October half term. I'm now looking for good activities for 2 young children in Birmingham City Centre. The ages are 3 years old and 7 years old. We don't have a car so can't travel to places like Cadbury World etc. and…

Heading towards Birmingham
I'll be travelling to the West Midlands this autumn and would like to spend a few days sampling the cultural delights of the surrounds. I'm based in the South East and have visited Warwickshire and the East Midland extensively, so its time to go north or west of Birmingham. I'll be driving so flexible about location. What…

Car Hire If Address Wrong On Licence?
I'm facing a challenge: I have a trip to Scotland booked tomorrow. I've booked a rental car through StressFreeCarRental. I've discovered that my driver's license still displays my previous address. Will this discrepancy between the address on my license and my actual address pose an issue? If I do update it through the…

Motorhome hire
To celebrate a big birthday, I'm thinking of hiring a motorhome (rather than a campervan) for my husband and I plus our two children (18 /13) plus dog in the Yorkshire Dales / Lake District areas next August 2024. Unfortunately we are unable to go out of season. Probably 4 nights / 5 days hire rather than a week, depending…

Visits to London by car/public transport under new ULEZ rules
I've had to delay a planned leisure trip to London with daughter which will now take place after the extension to the ULEZ zone. Unfortunately I'll also have to take our 2015 family hatchback which is not ULEZ compliant rather than my 2010 sports convertible that is compliant :( I have to drop off at Heathrow on 31st -…

Airbnb not giving a refund
Hi guys, I had a stay booked with Airbnb for the 20th of Jan. I'd paid half of it at booking, there wasn't a choice not to. In the small print, it said if you canceled after the first 2 days of booking, you'd get a partial refund and I'd paid partially. So I've just had to cancel as due to family reasons I'll be out of the…

Where is worth a visit in North Wales?
We are off to North Wales just for 4 days and to save wasting time going to places there is no point in going to I thought I would ask on here for opinions. I went a few months ago and found Llandudno lovely. Rhyl was ok but not as nice. I went to Prestatyn and there seemed to be nothing there and what shops there were…

Theme Park Tips
I work at a major themepark and thought i would pass on some tips for you all. Firstly.... Never Prebook, ever, ever. You book a nice day in june and save maybe £2 a ticket, yet you spend £50 extra on food since it chucks it down and you sit in the restaurant all day. Saying that, ring up the park and ask them to send you…

The flight was originally at 10:20am and the ferry was…
