North Aberdeen coast is well worth visiting.
Lots of interesting villages after Lossiemouth (free air show from the RAF base!), Cullen (home of Cullen Skink), Portsoy (location for remake of Whisky Galore) Gardenstown, Pennan (location for Local Hero).1 -
Whin Park is nice to walk to & through. There's the castle not far from the river. If you've got children, there is a playpark too. I live on a Scottish island, so a highlight for my children was to go to the trampoline place & Landmark at Carrbridge (which is a very pretty area to look around). There's a wildlife park on the Black Isle & I believe you can go on dolphin spotting tours near the Moray Firth. A bigger wildlife park is bear Aviemore, with off road walking/cycling routes, etc too.
Have a great trip!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
