Sky and loyalty
I saw this in The Guardian on line: Sky is also launching a loyalty programme to “reward and recognise members” based on how long they have been a customer as part of its strategy to stem customer churn. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/jan/26/sky-tv-without-dish-premier-league-rights-costs Having been first with…

Sky tv
Sky have overcharged me for Multiscreen since 2010. They will only refund 2 years??This amounts to £258 instead of over £2000 I am owed. How or who can I see to find out if I can claim for the past 16 years? They mis-sold me this, and I never received a box or anything. They say I should have complained earlier. HELP!!!

TV and Broadband Deal Advice
Howdy, My fianc!e and I are moving into out first home together within the next month. I am now looking at TV and broadband packages. If money wasn't an object, we would obviously go for the biggest and best all round. However, as money is an object, our main needs are fast broadband, with decent upload (for gaming), and…

Is your Humax box not working? Then read on
Hi, Our Humax HDR 1000S box recently stopped working and of course it is just out to the 2 year warranty that they offer. So I was looking at purchasing another when I thought I'd better make sure there wasn't some obvious trouble shooting advice on their website. Turns out they are having some issues with the latest…

Can I leave sky within 30 days without penalty?
We moved sky from our old flat to new, but it turns out the new flat doesn't have a sky dish. I called to cancel but they said the penalty will be around £200. Is this correct? I would have thought I could cancel in 30 days?

Moving house, best alternative to Sky?
We are a family of 5 looking to save some money on our media set up. We are out of contract with sky (we have tv/phone/bb with them)and have got rid of box sets. A bit bewildered:huh: by all that is out there, but I was thinking about getting freesat and a firestick (we have prime). Would that be a good setup or overkill?…

Virgin Media Failed SAR - Closed Complaint Down
After moving house 13 months ago I swore I would leave Virgin, and then they made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I took it. Since then I must have spent 20+ hours on the phone complaining about the terrible service. After one 2 hour headbanging incident in March, I opening up a complaint, and requested all data held on…

Changing to Freeview?
Would love some advice, please. At present we have Virginmedia TV, Phone (landline) and Broadband. We have been happy with the setup and their customer service has been excellent. However, as we are near retirement age, we would like to reduce our outgoings and are considering using the Freeview alternative. We already…

Now TV Codes
Hey guys, I play a game on my phone called 'Snatch' which has prizes including now tv codes. As I don't have now tv, or know anyone who has, I thought I'd post them here for anyone who might be able to use them. They are single use codes so it really is first come first served with them. They all expire soon so let me know…

YouView from Plus worth £5 a month?
We just had a mailshot from Plus offering YouView for £5 a month for Unlimited Fibre Broadband customers. The offer is at https://www.plus.net/tv/ . I'm trying to weigh up pros and cons. We're a Murdoch-free household so we have no Sky subscription, nor would we want one except for individual channels, though we have a Now…

Sky TV Question
I'm finding we rarely watch actual Sky content and are mostly using the Sky box for terrestrial channels and freeview channels, this make the £74 pm cost very expensive, I like the HD content and the Sky+ recording facility, can I cancel or keep a minimal subscription whilst keeping the HD and recording capability?

I just need a PVR...
Why is there little on the market to choose from? All I want is a box that will give me FREEVIEW channels and either YOUVIEW or FREEVIEW PLAY, preferably the latter and to be able to record TV. There are just so few to choose from it seems. HUMAX dominates the market but I have had such bad service and luck with them. Even…

No tv point or aerial
Hi, I'm really after some advice. We are about to move and there is no aerial or tv point in the house. We are used to no tv but not really being up with tech I wondered if there was an obvious solution that doesn't involve too much cost or labour from someone who is up with tech:) TIA
