This may get long winded, I'm confusing myself just typing it......sorry
So, we pay £80per month to Virgin for TV, bb and phone. Don't need the phone at all and the only reason we have TV is for Eurosport. The bb is ok (on testing we're getting 78mps download)
We have 3 tablets, 3 phones and a laptop using the bb ( and occasional gaming) We have tried sky previously but dish related tv proved sketchy to say the least.
We had used a now tv box, thought it was ok, but didn't solve the Eurosport issue. Hubby did like the UTube being able to be 'flicked' onto the telly with the now box.
We don't have a smart tv. Is there a better system/ provider we could use to ditch the stuff we don't use and maybe up the bb? I have looked and looked but only succeeded in getting more confused, any help would be gratefully received.

You can get a years Eurosport streaming subscription for £30 (occasionally there are offers for £15 or £20 available).
To watch on your TV assuming it has a HDMI socket, get a Google Chromecast usually £30 (but apparently £19 from Tesco from Wednesday for a limited time, Black Friday offer). Get the Eurosport app, (Android or Apple phone / tablet required with location services).

Chromecast will also support NowTV, You Tube and loads of other apps.0 -
Thank you so much for your help, that sounds just the ticket, there is a HDMI socket in the front of the TV so that'll do nicely x0

You can also subscribe to eurosport via Amazon on the fire TV stick/box if you have a TV that has the app or get yourself a stick if you prefer to use something that has a remote rather than casting from a phone or tablet

Yes but £4.95 per month add on to Prime, = £59.40 per year all most twice going direct to Eurosport plus Prime subscription.

The link on the page you linked to is very misleading advertising by Eurosport.0 -
Thanks both, an annual subscription for Eurosport was £29.99 and it flicks onto the tv using the chromecast. All sorted 0

That's a bit underhand if you can't use the offer on it that they advertise on the page0
