Something to do with only having 1 RF output, instead of 2?
What a backwards step, was better off with old sky+ box

Been here, done this. I think you'll have the newest Sky+HD box, which GAINS built in WiFi, but LOSES the RF2 output that you've been used to. I made this change voluntarily hoping to get a better WiFi signal to the box, than the little external boxes - that worked.
But you can still have your TV upstairs - you just need a little box out the back. I got one, and I have to say I lost a little bit of quality on the RF signal, but it's certainly still usable.
You'll probably have to enable the RF output on the new box, and retune the TV upstairs onto a possibly new analogue channel.
Here's an example of what I bought:

Come back if you've any more questions and let us know how you get on...0 -

If RF voltage is on then green light stays on , connect cabling as before , should see red light on the sky link in other room like normal
May need to retune TV in other roomEx forum ambassador

GGGGRRRRR!!
Well the IO Link arrived yesterday.
I try and connect it, and guess what?
There is no IO Port on the Sky Box:eek:
I was confused at first, then i saw the Sky Box actually HAD a RF2 Out Port !!
The Sky Man who installed it (Free) said it was refurbished, and it didn't have WiFi or a Remote Control (Use my old one and connect to internet with ethernet cable).
He also said do you watch tv upstairs? Because you wont be able to now?
And true enough, i had no picture upstairs.
Anyway, i've now been into the 'secret' Services/Installers Menu on the Sky Box, and tuned the RF2 Port ON! And changed the frequency number, and Retuned my TV upstairs..... and 'hey presto' i now have Sky in my bedroom again :j
Silly Sky Man, though, i didn't need the bloomin' the IO Link at all :mad:0
