Sky Contract Help
Hi, firstly apologies if this is the wrong section. It was the best fit in my eyes. I'll try and keep this concise as I know I waffle. I guess if people who could help need more info they would ask. Back in Jan '16 I renegotiated my Sky TV contract for a better deal, and agree to a new 12 month contract. Come Jan '17 I…

The full price when that offer ends will be £35.50 per month. Apart from watching my team who are on Sky quite often I don't really…

Streaming from iPad to Smart TV
I've been looking at downloading the occasional movie from iTunes to my iPad mini retina with the intention of watching it on my Samsung Smart TV However, the little reading I've done seems to suggest that Apple doesn't make this easy. The most obvious solution would seem to be an Apple TV but at over £125 that's one big…

Can I use my apple App Store credit for a Disney life subscription?
I got a couple of iTunes gift cards for my birthday and now have a balance of about £40. I'd like to use this to get Disney life on my iPad. Will the monthly subscription fee come off this balance, or would I have to pay with a credit card instead? I've contacted Disney life but they don't know.

Sky free 'gift' -expires tonight!
We are Sky customers and we have been given a gift from them to get a free movie. You get the download and then they also post the DVD to you. As we are a Direct Debit payer, why are they asking for credit card details? Is it normal? Helpline on Twitter has closed so I can't ask them. Any ideas? Thanks

Streaming from a NAS to a smart TV?
We just bought a new Sony smart TV and I want to do away with the hundreds of DVD boxes cluttering up my living room by moving them onto a NAS drive. I'm a bit confused though about how one goes about getting the media from the NAS drive to play on the tv? Also, if anyone can help me with choosing a NAS drive and not…

Sky TV - Need to cut the package but not in my name!!
Surely someone out there has had this issue before? I cannot afford or justify the £103 a month that I pay for Sky TV and broadband. The contract is in my ex-partner's name, who moved out 3 years ago and who I haven't seen since. I have however, always, from the beginning (2010) paid the subscription from my bank account.…

75% Discount on Basic Package
Contacted Sky via Live Chat today to cancel my subscription. Since I have a Now TV box, plus Netflix and Prime, I didn't feel the need to carry on paying out £20 plus per month for the odd couple of channels that I'd miss (Syfy, Universal and Dave), and the privilege of being able to record programs as you can watch most…

Ringing to lower my sky bill any advice?
I've been a sky customer for 6 years. My contract is coming to an end so the time has come to call them to get a better deal for the following year. I usually pay £52 a month for sky downstairs, phone and broadband and also a multi room box. This is the deal I got this year after a lot of hard work so I doubt I'll get the…

We were with Sky for ages but the sky+ box kept freezing and then when we rebooted, lost all saved programmes. This happened many times and we tried hard and soft reboots. In the end, we were not using the TV that much and were looking to save money so we cancelled. We still have the box (but it has no recording…
