Stoozing - what can I pay/buy with the c/c
Have came across this "term" recently and am interested. so my question is; if I applied and received a 0% c/c what can I pay/buy with this, on reading it is everything you buy (shops/internet etc) but am more interested in the bills you can pay with it, eg house council tax, elec, gas, etc and especially a bill I have…

Eliminating minimum payments
I have 2 stoozes running at the moment, 0% deals with Virgin and MBNA for 37 and 34 months, approx £6k each, all good. However, as we know, unless you have enough money out of your surplus cash to pay the minimum monthly payments, then the stoozed balances get gradually eaten away by the minimum payments.(in this case 1%,…

Opus - anyone on here worked for them?
In September 2011 Opus closed my account but didn't tell me about it. I'd had a 5.9% APR for life of balance promotional rate, which they did in fairness honour after closing my account. If you work / worked at Opus, or experienced something similar, did they selectively close a lot of accounts in or around September 2011?…

However they refund 50 percent of the fee within 30 days. Also you can transfer any balance even ones on a Halifax cc and the…

avoiding tax via Pension.
Hello.. First post here, but i've been lurking a while. Just came across Stoozing.. interesting stuff. Anyway, I came across a calculator which shows potential rewards. It asks about tax rates. I'm guessing this is due to tax on gains via savings accounts. To avoid the tax, couldn't one just add the gains to their pension…

Stoozing and Maximising Available Credit - Beginner
OK, here goes: I have just taken out a card for stoozing - the credit limit is way less (4k) than I know it could be. I'm earning roughly double what I was when I got my bank issued card, and the credit limit on my new card is the same. I have £1k left on a personal loan which I intend to get rid of soon, as I fear this…

Card limit of £2000 purchase of £2500 coming up
Hey everyone :) My card only has a limit of £2500 but booking a holiday of roughly £2500 how can I do it so I am only £2000 in debt on my card? Would I make the purchase first and then add the extra £500? Or would I overpay the card while I pay the original outstanding debt too?

Can I take money out abroad then convert it back to pounds?
This is probably a stupid question but here goes: I live in Northern Ireland I can easily cross over into the Republic withdraw Euros with my Halifax Clarity and then convert the Euros into pounds and save the money. Would this get around the cash withdraw hit on my credit report since it's in a foreign currency and…

Post Office credit card - refund of balance transfer fee
Has anybody recently opened a Post Office credit card where the balance transfer fee is refunded within 90 days? If so, typically how long did it take to receive the refund? I'm getting close to the 90 day limit and there is still no sign of the refund and I was wondering if they really would drag it out to the bitter end.
