My ex owes me a substantial amount. He informs me that he can't pay it back in cash (unless I have a little bit each month but it will take a while to pay it!)
He's suggested transferring my CC debt (which I pay back IN FULL every month) on to his 0% CC and that would take out nearly half of what he owes
I'm tempted as he very rarely pays back so whilst offers there I'm thinking "do it"
But what repercussions are there if I do?

I didn't think you could do this but apparently you can and the debt then becomes his: http://www.money.co.uk/credit-cards/can-you-transfer-a-balance-from-someone-elses-credit-card.htm0

Hi
I done this for my wife years ago, got herself in trouble and I paid her debt with 0% interest. Just done a balance transfer.0 -
Thanks for that info. Didn't know you could do that. Might be handy for future stoozing!!.How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0
