Puppy Scooting.
I got my new CKCS puppy on Saturday. She is a little angel. I have noticed that she often scoots..is this normal? The majority of the time it is just after she has come in from having done a poop. Occasionally she does it randomly. Google tells me that it could be caused by worms. She has had 2 lots of worming treatment…

Okay, this has been asked a thousand times and already by me when i had exhausted all other options, but what can i do ... Doggy chill pill needed
Can anyone recommend a doggy chill pill that I can give to our 6 yr old beagle before he gives to the vet for his annual vaccinations? He's OK in the waiting room but as soon as he goes into the examination room he's on his guard - the usual offering of treats that would normal be wolfed down are ignored and he sits in the…

Simple solution
If anyone uses this (the indoor version for dog soiling) it is at a good low price of £12.66 for 4 litres on Amazon, at the moment. (Free delivery if you order two containers). You have to be quick, though, as after the last low price, I hesitated for a few hours and ended up paying nearly £17, as prices change so quickly.…

World's best cat litter
I usually buy catsan but got fed up of stepping on errant grains that escape the tray (that stuff can rival lego in the pain stakes) so bought a bag of "world's best" cat litter. I put it in the trays on Friday and so far it's been a huge hit with the cats - they think it's so tasty they won't wee on it and have been going…

Puppy and cat
Hi I have a 15 week cocker spaniel puppy who is lovely and very friendly. He loves to play and is generally very excitable around anything that moves. We also have a grumpy 6 year old cat who to be fair likes to be on his own and relax near a radiator and watch the world go by. The puppy does not understand this as he…

Cat Litter Trays
Hi, just want advice on the best type of cat litter tray. I keep trying different ones for my two cats but still can't decide on what is best. I find the enclosed ones cause less tracking and mess but look big and bulky and can be a faff taking the top off all the time to scoop out the mess and change the tray. The open…

Poodles tails had to be docked after trip to Groomer
Just needed some help about something that has recently happened to two of my daughter’s small poodles. My daughter took 4 of her doggies to have them groomed recently, one standard poodle puppy, one Bichon Frise and two toy poodles. On arrival home she noticed that the Groomer had, unknown to my daughter, put bows on all…

Mouth licking
I have recently got myself a border collie pup, about 8 months old and he gets on well with most dogs but with the old lady next door (she is about 10) he constantly licks her mouth. She doesn't seem to mind this in fact if I am brushing her back at the same time, she almost seems to be in raptures. Any ideas as to why he…

Cat's eyelashes growing into his eyes; is surgery successful?
We have a new visitor in recent weeks - a lovely old guy, wholly intact (in your face wholly intact :rotfl:) but one eye is constantly streaming bloody and/or mucous-streaked discharge. I have managed to wash his eye to see what the problem is and it seems to be that the eyelashes are growing into the eye. I can correct…

Dog peeing bed
I'll try to keep this as short as possible but need to give a bit of background on my situation. My 2yr old dog keeps peeing on her bed when I go to work. I started a new job 3 weeks ago and was previously working from home. I leave the house about 8am after she has had at least 30 mins exercise and has done her business.…

Dog Worming Tablets
I used to get worming tablets from the vet. They are really expensive. I recall the vet telling me that there are no worming tablets that cover all types of worms, sold off the shelf. Is this true? If not does anyone know which is best?

How far can a cavapoo walk
Hi we got our dog who is a cavapoo 3 weeks ago. She is one years old. I have been taking her for long walks twice a day. Now worried that I'm walking her too far. She seems to like the walks. How many miles is reasonable for this type of dog.

RSCPA Kitten Food is any good?
Hi all, I came across this brand on Amazon, RSPCA stands for The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a charity so I assume the quality should be quite good. but my worry is about the low 18.5% of chicken in their kitten cat food's composition. for instance IAMS (which is not a high end brand) in their…
