Tell me about cats
I've always had dogs before and can read them like a book Cats, woah, different book So Arthur is 8 months now, pretty settled, not a lovey dovey cat but we get along. He has his routine and he knows ours However he's been sick a few times, perhaps 4 times since he's been with us since November. He's been on the same car…

Looking for particular cat toys
A couple of years ago my neighbour bought my cat some little catnip stuffed leather mice. IIRC there were 4 of them in a packet, or maybe 2 packets with 2 mice in each. Red ones and green ones, with the mouse body about 5cm long and the tail about 4cm. My cat absolutely adored these toys, far better than any other toy mice…

Hi. How much does a insurance provider increase the policy cost following a claim? Cat has lifetime cover and this policy year will be a costly claim. I am assuming cat will be on meds for the remaining time left. Insurance provider More Than premium cover .

How much do you have in a pet savings account?
I have 12 year old cat and am about to get a puppy. My cat has barely cost us anything through the years, just flea/worming/vaccinations. But i am aware that i've been lucky up till this point, and that dogs are more expensive. So i have started a pet savings fund, where i save a certain amount each month for when…

My porch smells of cat pee
At least I think it's cat pee. It's evil, whatever it is. And it's a bit odd, because we don't have a cat, and the outer door is kept closed. Thoughts about how I improve the smell? Or what it might be?

Soft stool problem-help?
My pup has loads of allergies. So she's now on wet Eukanuba FP dermatosis canned food. It's no issue with her like ability and she's doing well with it. But evidently expected her stools are softer than usual as it's just wet food... What can I give her to firm them up,.. It's making a bit of a mess on her bottom and she…

I am currently renovating my flat and the doors that are currently in, she can open so I can't shut her out of the bedroom. how shocked should I be?
Our old cat needed to be pts about 18 months ago, and we're now in the market for another one. We visited a cat rescue place and although we were planning on getting a kitten, one of their older cats (12) took a real shine to my OH and we decided that we would get him instead. We were told that all the cats were vaccinated…

Bough by many insurance company
Does anybody know anything about this company or are with them? They cover pre existing conditions as long as it doesnt last over three months as then it is deemed chronic. They only cover up to £500 in the first year, then £1,000 then £7,000 if no claims have been made in this time. Their excess is £90/95. They cover up…

My dog has needed to put a claim in for allergy testing. Of course true to belief my insurance are trying to state this is a pre existing condition. Grrr. pet insurance
I am looking for advice on pet insurance. It is such a minefield trying to choose the right insurance/cover for my pet! I have an 11 month cross breed pup. He is chipped, and has not been neutered. I was going to go for lifetime but this appears to be more tailored for older dogs with ailments such as diabetes, cancer,…

Will He Come Back
This is not really a pet issue but maybe someone will be able to give some advice. I walked into my kitchen this lunchtime to see a fox staring at me through the patio doors. He was lying down on the grass. He spotted me at the same time as I spotted him and became alarmed. As he got up I saw that he was gravely injured…
