Vacuum cleaner recommendations?
Hi... Looks as though our old Miele Cats & Dogs vacuum cleaner has had it. It was a good hoover, and we've had it many years. I'm considering Dyson - but would be interested in hearing which makes forum members would recommend. Posted this on the pet forum as would like something that is good for pet hair (cat). Thanks!

What's the best breed for my family
We have been thinking about getting a dog for a while. Not a puppy but one between 1-3 years old. Just can't decide which breed would suit us best. French Bulldog seems to be fitting the bill perfectly but I am concerned about their health issues especially breathing. So I guess I am looking for a French Bulldog without…

Extremely Anxious Dog
Quick question for you all: I adopted an absolutely wonderful dog from Romania toward end of last year. He's about 3 years old, very sweet, gentle, loves to please, doesn't steal/counter surf and is generally just a really, really lovely dog. His one issue is his anxiety. He is constantly highly anxious to the point where…

Vet's bill dispute
Hello all was looking for some advice on a vets bill. We told the vets how much money was left in the insurance pot and wanted the treatment to work round that figure + or - £200. Attacked by dog whilst mistakenly cycling on private country lane
I was cycling with my family (wife, 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter) and mistakenly entered a private farm country lane (unclear signs). Half the way through on the country lane heard someone shouting at us and come running from a house (~20-30 meters away) along the lane. A dog and his owner appeared running toward…

Dog insurance- Bought by Many
I am paying £32 per month for my 5 year Labrador. via Bought by Many Lifetime Policy- £15k cover I believe. But I know if I make a claim that £32 will rocket. My cat had cancer and went to £200 pm so canceled it. Get a loan if she needs care than paying £200 just in case. Thinking of doing the same with my dog. I can…

Pet Insurance - what constitutes a pre-existing condition?
When our dog was a year old he stated limping a bit intermittently, so we took him to the vet and he had x-rays done. Nothing showed up on the x-rays and he has been fine ever since - this was three years ago. My question is even though nothing was found to be wrong, would an insurance company class this as a pre-existing…

Hi all, I've just recently brought my dog to the UK from Indonesia and doing the grand search of dog food that doesn't cost a fortune. Petlog no replies to queries
Hello I bought two premium petlog registrations for my two cats back in 2013. After seeing the issues with their website I tried to re-register them but was told that my cats weren't on the petlog database and to look up the chips on a website which tells me where the chips are registered. I used the website and it told me…
