UKPC ticket during 'no parking period'
Hi, I received a letter as the vehicle keeper for a charge on the 27/01/2026 from UKPC. I have read the newbie thread and tried to absorb the info - the letter (and I got a 'final reminder' notice today) look compliant from other UKPC letters on the Forum. I have left it a bit late since receiving the first letter - should…

Plan A Success!
My wife had a recent PCN from UKPA at Almondvale West in Livingston (Scotland). A notorious retail park with one car park split in half, one part pay and display and the other part is ANPR and ticket machines/app. In her case, the nearest pay machine wasn't working and the next one she went to was for the wrong half of the…

What are the best grounds for contesting this parking charge?
Hi all, I've been directed to get some advice here by some users on r/LegalAdviceUK. My situation is as follows: I arrived in the car park at 18:20. The image below shows the sign with the terms and conditions of the car park. As I planned to stay for about 2 hours, I went to the machine and pressed the PLUS button to…

DCB Legal/Euro car parks - overstay due to a faulty EV charging point
Hi, I'll try to keep this as brief as possible, but any and all guidance is deeply appreciated! First time I ever attempted to charge the EV on August 9th 2024, I plugged in and stayed in the car, having no idea what, if anything, should be appearing on the dashboard and or app. About 10/15 mins into the charge, the…

Should I pay £170 UKPC debt recovery?
I have a lease car and I received a letter from VW to let me know I need to pay £60 for parking over a line while shopping at Matalan with my baby. I didn’t even realise I was parked over the line due to needing space to take out the baby and the buggy. I ignored the fine as I was so busy. I now have debt recovery letters…

Lancaster Park Virtual Permit
Good evening, We received this one today. Ive not come across a virtual permit charge before. Its near Leeds/Bradford Airport. Lancaster Park next to Costa. I dont have an image of the miniscule warning signs yet. Would I treat this the same as the generic car park/airport rip off PCNs? Thankyou for reading.

Thank you / success
I just wanted to say thank you for all of the advice here. I have just come out of my claim hearing, and the judge dismissed UKPA / Moorside’s claim in about 15 minutes on ‘balance of probabilities’. Thanks for all your help, and I believe the phrase is ‘another one bites the dust!’.

ECP , DCB Legal court claim 2025
Hi I am in need of some advice, I have received notice of final debt recovery from a bailiff company for a parking fine from 2023. UKPC , DCB LEGAL court claim
Hi Forum, I'm back again with another PCN—this time for parking slightly outside a white line. I've already submitted the standard template appeal to UKPC, which was unsurprisingly rejected. They've now issued me a POPLA code. Would it be worth proceeding with an appeal to POPLA? If so, is there an up-to-date template I…
