Does anyone have a tried & tested recipe for a cornbeef and potato pie please? I used to buy mine from Marks & Spencers but my local store hasn't had them for a very long time, so can only assume they're not selling them anymore (they do a small parcel shaped one but I'm looking for family sized:p ) Will keep my fingers…

Anti-perspirant stains - removal ideas?
If anyone will know, one of you lot will! How do I get those horrible white stains out of clothes? I'm loathe to throw anything away until I've had a go at getting rid of them. By the way - I've just switched to using Trust as a deodorant. So far so good and hopefully no more stains! Thanks in advance.

I Crave "Fresh" Bedding!
I washed my bedsheets the other day, and as I got into bed that night, I realised that my bedding never smells "fresh" like my mums did, and it's not nearly so refreshing to get into a freshly made bed. It is nothing to do with airing the bed as I air it every day, hoovering it once a week... So how do I get lovely fresh…

Cheese dips
Apologies if this has already been posted or if on the wrong board. My youngest daughter if shopping with me always asks for a dairylea dipper as a treat. However these are not cheap for a small amount of dairylea and bread sticks. I therefore bought two tubs of Dairylea (two weeks ago bogof) and a packet of Tesco's mini…

Save dry tobacco with lettuce
This is an old trick, but some people may not have heard about it so... If you smoke roll-ups you probably end up with the really dry stuff at the bottom of the packet that you can't roll with very well and ends up being sucked into your teeth. If you'r elike me you always have several old packets lying around in the car…
