The Bookstore Belfast
Hi All, Has anyone ever visited this little gem of a shop close to Cathedral Quarters? I popped in today and felt it was brilliant, the only downfall was I wanted to purchase a particular second hand book and I was a few pence short but the owner would make any allowances.

Planning
Just a bit of advice if someone can. Neighbours have built a fairly big shed for cows last year and are now constructing another large she'd but I have not received and planning notification. Should they be applying for planning permission? What are the rules in relation to these type of shed farming?

Transfer tests and GCSE results?
Just out of interest, does anyone know of a resource giving statistics on how well transfer test scores correlate with GCSE grades? It would be interesting to see if they are doing a good job of predicting results.

Torbitts in Larne
Anyone used them for getting a fitted kitchen? I'm in the process of getting plans worked up by them and I'm impressed by what has been shown but just wondering if anyone has any experience of them. There is a cost involved, naturally.

Best value breadown cover for Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland
I'm investigating taking out breakdown cover for my car and it looks like most of the cheaper policies cover 'the UK'. The car will occasionally be taken into The Republic of Ireland and I'd like a policy that will cover me when I'm there. I want a policy that means I won't be stranded if the car breaks down and ideally…

Bracelet theft - no one cares!
I really don't know what to do next!! A few weeks ago was at a well known NI hotel and left a bracelet (left to me by my late mum) in the safe. Yes it was my fault I took what I thought was everything out of it and left it in. So when I got home I realised I'd left it, rang them to see if handed in and thankfully it had.…

Mortgage advice poor credit.
Just need some local advice. My wife and I are trying to work out if getting a mortgage is realistic. Not great credit history, never missed a rent payment of over £600 per month and we both have good secure jobs. House we like is around £80000.00 so we'd be paying a lot less per month but I guess that doesn't mean much.…

Renting vs Buying
Hi, I'm moving to Belfast for work and have been looking at 1 bed apartments etc - as I'm a single person in late 30's. The price of accommodation for a single person is quite expensive. Any decent apartment is £500pcm and upwards for a minimum of 12 months - I don't like the idea of being tied down to renting for this…
