Best value breadown cover for Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland

I'm investigating taking out breakdown cover for my car and it looks like most of the cheaper policies cover 'the UK'. The car will occasionally be taken into The Republic of Ireland and I'd like a policy that will cover me when I'm there. I want a policy that means I won't be stranded if the car breaks down and ideally one that will either take me on to my destination or provide a courtesy car.

Can anyone recommend a policy that won't cost the earth but will cover me whilst at home and for the odd trip over the border?
