Just a bit of advice if someone can.
Neighbours have built a fairly big shed for cows last year and are now constructing another large she'd but I have not received and planning notification. Should they be applying for planning permission? What are the rules in relation to these type of shed farming?

Agricultural buildings are exempt from planning (permitted development) - full details are under part 7 of The Planning General Permitted Development) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015. Essentially, so long as it is with 75m of their other farm buildings, unless it is bigger than 500 square metres, is within 75m of your house, are building it very close to the road or within 3km of an airport, or they are not really farmers, they don't need to apply for planning permission.0
