Recommended Driving Instructors - Larne area
Not from the area myself, but helping someone who is in need of a good ADI approved driving instructor, and hopeful some of you good folks might know of one, as there doesn't seem to be much online reviews of any (other than on some of their own websites, which might be biased). Happy for you to PM me…

Did anyone from here get to the Euros?
It seems like tickets for Northern Ireland matches were difficult to get and I'm not sure if tickets to the last 16 matches lasted 5 seconds, however did many here have success?

Renting to the Council
Hi All, I'm in the process of renting out my house which is being done through an Estate Agent, who haven't made very much progress over the past two months. A friend of mine recommended renting the house through the council who do all the leg work and charge a small commission. Is this a viable option? I've never heard of…

Retailer saying warranty is with manufacturer after the initial 12 months
Bought electrical item from well known catalogue store with 2 yr advertised warranty. Problem after 15 months, retailer refuses to help and directs me to manufacturer as they only cover the first 12 months, it seems. Is this normal? I thought my contract was with the retailer and not the manufacturer.

PCN: Urban Clearway - should I challenge?
Hi, I got a PCN for parking on an urban clearway recently. I've checked the location where I've parked and looking one way down the street, the sign was facing in the opposite direction - hence why I didn't see it. When driving up past it, it was located a busy set of traffic lights and had some large commerical for sale…

Dog sitters.
Does anyone know of anywhere in the coleraine area that does dog sitting while you are away. Not kennels, or someone who comes to your house a couple of times a day, I mean looking after a dog in their own house. Thank you.

Extra charges for click and collect at Argos for items bought on ebay
Recently an Ebay seller wanted to charge me an £5 for delivery to NI by Argos Click and collect. After I had bought the item, I got a message that since it was not a mainland destination they would have to charge me extra or I could get a refund. Since the ebay listing did not flag anything regarding extra costs for…

Hi! Always add breakdown cover to my car insurance when I buy it through the broker but as my premium seems to have doubled since last year (no accidents or points etc - aaaargh!) I will be taking my insurance out via a comparison site instead which doesn't include breakdown cover. Can anyone recommend or have any…

A day on my own
It's my birthday soon (a really BIG one) and after a year from hell would like to do something special just for me, and on my own. NB not Galgorm or similar spa days as I don't enjoy them, and nothing too energetic either as getting over a broken leg. Anywhere in N.Ireland, or over the border within reason. Any suggestions…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-36710104 Who comes up with such craziness? I'm not talking about the scheme itself, just how it was implemented. Rewarding people to waste heat? Well I guess we don't need to meet the EU renewables targets anymore (although I think they were a good thing).
