Christmas Day Lunch

Hi,

An elderly relative wants to go out for lunch on Christmas Day in the Bangor area. I'm not sure he realises the price yet, but does anyone know of somewhere that does reasonable food at a not too daft price? His original thought was to take us all (7) away for the Christmas weekend but that really isn't money saving!

Not sure if they do food on Christmas day but I'd maybe make a call to Jenny Watts ... great food & not badly priced either

Sounds a bit depressing. Wetherspoons on Christmas day.

Each to their own I guess.

Better than sitting in an empty house I guess?

It was fully booked last year!

    That's true I suppose.

The only wetherspoons I've been in (Ballymena) is depressing at the best of times.

You would probably need to book quickly, as that is an unbeatable price. And in my experience Weatherspoon's food is usually quite good.
