does anyone know the difference between a special allowance and a special bonus, as I have received both in pay. I don't want to spend it in case I have to pay it back.

I don't, but I would GUESS that an allowance repeats, whereas a bonus happens once...0

Hey, just wondering if I can add another area to this thread. On the internal careers site, are there many opportunities for contract workers? I have managed to get a merit number for a temp position but just wondering if once that contract is ending, are there permanent positions available? On the internal site?0
