Guernsey, mobile data, dual sim
Hey everyone, We're off to Guernsey in August, and for some reason it just occurred to me today see if Giffgaff goody bags were covered there under the EU roaming thingy, alas, they do not. I have an A51 from Samsung, which has dual sim I believe. Are there any networks which would cover Guernsey which I could just get a…

Hello, I have a contract with ID mobile (including handset) which costs £32 a month and I am 17 months into the 24 month contract. Initially the signal was fine as I worked from home and was always locally in my area. A few months ago I went self employed and now regularly travel up and down the country and have found the…

Hello Everyone My mum has low vision, and owns a 'non smart phone' with no accessibility features. I would like to get her a simple smart phone that has features that would help her - such as being able to dictate her text messages, have text messages read out to her, a reader that reads printed text out loud, the…

O2 Classic 123 (activated in Nov 22) deactivated after no regular top up
Posting as an FYI, as O2 Classic 123 SIM cards are (or possibly now were) often recommended as an option for very low usage mobiles. Although they haven't been available from O2 for quite a while, a number of third party market place resellers sell these. Previously the credit didn't expire, so one £10 top could last…

No Volte or WiFi Calling on Sky Mobile
I have been with Sky Mobile (SIM only) for a few years. After the issues they had last month I got a 1pMobile payg SIM as back up and also to try out the EE signal. With 1p I can get Volte and phone calls over 4g when I've tried them are a huge improvement over ones made with Sky. Wifi calling isn't an option either and is…

Large Amount of Scam Texts Since Joining O2
I've been with O2 for just two days and today have already received three spam texts. They have a lot of warnings about it, more so than any other operator I have been with and a friend got scammed as they were porting their old number over (someone called, confirmed their house number and name, then asked for a code they…

Changing Sims - PAC codes
I regularly change my sim card/networks to get the best deals. I was previously with different networks and my most recent, previous network was Lebara. I then moved to Lyca (5p a month for 6 months). However, Lyca after 6 months increases the bill to around £5 so I am now looking at other deals. I have found the Lebara…

It's that old - as is the 2G phone... :/ And I don't…

Lebara MSE blagged SIMs
I've just got a couple of new SIMs following the link on the MSE page for the blagged SIMs with Lebara. It said that the SIM was a one month SIM but for months 1-6 was 99p. I've just tripped the first month on the first SIM and it now says I'm out of plan and only offering a £5 a month deal. But on the second SIM page,…

Lebara - Monthly Payments / Customer Service
Joined Lebara and the first monthly payment is £5.90 instead of the £1.49, that it's supposed to be - contacted them and the customer service is refunding me, but make sure you check what they're charging you. I think they do it to everyone and hope they won't notice.

O2 roaming in Channel Is and I of Man
We were recently in Jersey and made a call to Spain. Under the O2 T&Cs you can call a number in their Europe Zone while roaming in the Europe Zone. Jersey in included in their Europe Zone.
