What can you burn on a multi fuel stove
I love my stove. It has a boiler which heats the water and tops up the radiators .This reduces my oil consumption considerably. I live in the sticks and had a ready supply of cheap logs until recently. However it seems everyone is installing wood burners and the demand has shot up. The only stuff I can get hold of now is…

Gas or electric in the summer?
With the price of LPG, I have been wondering if its cheaper to turn the boiler off in the summer and charge the hot water tank up with the immersion heater instead. Not an E7 so would be using full price electric. Not having a gas meter how can this be worked out?

Leaving Heating On???
Hi All, I am new to this site. I was told by a friend of mine who used to date a plumbing engineer that it is cheaper to leave your heating on continuously rather than on a timer twice a day as it costs more to fire up the boiler.
