Cash ISA Transfer
I want to transfer my 1 yr fixed rate Cash ISA which matures 23/11/24 to another provider which is currently offering a better rate than the maturity option which has been given to me. However, it seems likely to me that interest rates generally will drop on 7/11 thanks to a Bank of England rate cut. If I open the new…

Trading 212 Cash ISA Transfer In
The rate offered is great (a loss leader). Be aware that there are a very limited number on banks they will accept transfers from and you only find this out after going through the whole acceptance process AND having to contact an adviser through their BOT.

If Not is there any way I can reinvest this amount within…

Am I paying over the odds for my S&S ISA with Hargreaves Lansdown?
I have about £76k in an H&L S&S ISA - Artemis, Invesco, Janus, Jupiter China, L&G, Stewart Investors. I don't trade shares. I can't even remember how I accumulated these funds. I am being charged approx £331 a year, approx £28 a month which I think is high. I do have about £40k in my DODL Investment ISA which I'm charged…

Kent Reliance Application for missed ISA subscription
I was checking some detail about a joint savings account we've closed a couple of days ago. We still have 3 ISAs with KR. The customer bloke said oh you haven't competed the applicaiton for a missed ISA subscription yet. I looked this up and it's a declaration that I will apply for an ISA in all future years. Then it says…

Labour £100k ISA cap?
This has been mooted. Personally I think it's scandalous if it happened as for some people their ISA interest is their pension. Especially for those without a private pension. What do we think?

Opening a new Cash ISA
I already have two cash ISA's 1 with virgin and one with the YBS they mature in April 2025. I understand that I can have multiple ISA's provided I do not invest over the £20,000 so no problem there. Where I am a little in the dark is. lets say Fred's bank is offering an ISA at a better rate than my current providers and…

Vigin cash ISA question
I have a one-year fixed cash ISA maturing in a few day's time. Today, I tried to transfer to their 4.51%cash ISA issue 27, and there was a charge as a result of transferring it before the end of the existing ISA. What is the best way please to transfer without a charge on the old account for closing it early.

Shawbrook ISA - transfers out - slow for all?
Would be interested in hearing other people's experience with transferring out of Shawbrook ISAs. We've had issues with comms and time frames every time (3 out of 3). We've transferred out Cash ISAs to 3 different providers on 3 separate occasions, each time transferring full balance (so should be simple). 2 out of 3 times…

ISA transfers
Hi, I am fairly new to ISAs and am just about to have my first ISA mature. I have another ISA which matures next year but does not accept transfers mid term. My question is; if I have used up my allowance for this year can I still open up a new ISA for this year purely to transfer my maturing ISA into? I would then look to…

L-ISA With Poor Credit
Myself and my partner are looking to open a lifetime ISA to begin saving for our first home however my credit rating is poor. My debts are all due to be paid off within 12 months and I’m looking to re-build my credit but I’m worried if I pay so much into the LISA but cannot get accepted for a mortgage. Wanted to open a…

Trust Funds vs Junior ISAs
I've got 2 kids and both have had a Trust Fund since birth. There's not much money in either Fund but I've had a couple of letters over the last couple of years to say that because of the markets not doing well there is an even smaller return on the investments made. I'm sure about 6 months ago Martin said to transfer the…

Cash ISA Fixed ISA Cooling off period
Asking whether the 14 days cooling off period is a strict rule for all banks and all cash ISA's or whether it is optional. Yesterday I transferred a cash ISA to a fixed rate ISA with the same bank and have now changed my mind. The bank is saying that since I've deposited more than £1000 in the FR isa I can't revert to the…

Transferring isa to another bank at end of fixed rate term
I have a fixed rate isa with Santander due to end on 1.11.24. I want to transfer it into a variable rate isa with Cynergy that I opened earlier this year. How can I do this without incurring a 120 day interest penalty but without losing the Isa tax-free status?
