Slow ISA transfer Trading 212

I initiated the transfer at the beginning of August and it’s still not transferred into my Trading 212 account.

I have been into the building Society and they confirmed account was closed and money transferred to trading 212 the end of August.

The only way to contact trading 212 is to send them a secure message which I’ve done many times and they just keep saying they are still waiting for the building society to respond.

I am losing a significant amount of interest it’s probably making the transfer pointless now. What should I do how do I resolve this

  • Also the building Society shows that they received and responded to the request in three days, they never actually got the request for something like three weeks after I filled in the application on the trading 212 app

  • I transferred an S&S ISA to a cash one in July last year - it took until February to be credited (different organisations - both blaming each other ) - they made good the lost interest and gave me a bit of compensation for the hassle factor

    they just keep telling me to be patient and they’re waiting for the ISA provider, Which is not the case.

    Have you tried submitting a complaint via the complaints email address on its FCA page? There's also a telephone number but it looks like a general one.

    I made a complaint recently.
    Just sent it by email to info@trading212.com
    Be clear that you're making a formal complaint.
    They will send you a complaint reference number

  • Just an update it all went OK finally. Main delay seems to be T212 picking up the requests.

  • I got problems with T212 transfer yo Virgin. First T212 lost their requests.  I have to chase! Now the funds not in either banks after 3 days. T212 said the ysent. Virgin said they did not receive. No one responsible for the interests. Virgin asked me to raise complaint..;. 
    Why are you posting the same thing in 4 different threads?
    You only need to post once, or better still, create a new thread as this particular problem is unique to you.

    I started a cash ISA transfer to T212 from Virgin Money on Wednesday and it went through today. No issues whatsoever.

    Just to show both parties can get it right!
