ISA Advice
I currently have 3k in a Chip ISA. I have 17k on notice from Oxbury due in my nominated account 19th Aug and was going to max the 20k limit in Chip. Now they have reduced the rates not sure what is the best option now. Can I open a Trading212 ISA and transfer the 3k in then top it up with the 17k. Or are also likely to…

DECREASE IN INTEREST RATE
I opened a online Shawbrook bank 1yr fixed cash isa the other day (issue 102) with an interest rate shown as 4.96%. I transferred an easy access cash isa to them but it hasn't gone through yet so my online Shawbrooks account is still showing nil balance. The interest rate shown is also shown as 0% and not the 4.96% as…

Hi I've currently got 2 Cash ISAs - a one year fixed rate one with Virgin Money which matures on the 24th August and an easy access one with Post Office which I opened in the middle of April and have been paying into each month. When my Virgin ISA matures and I transfer in to another provider, can I add funds in the first…

Natwest Fixed rate ISA Annual 2023
Hi there, I opened a Fixed Rate ISA Annual 4th August 2023, interest rate 5.7%. Interest paid 28th March 2024. I had expected the remaining interest to be paid by now, but hasn't, and the interest rate on the app is still showing as 5.7% which I'd expected to have dropped. Can anyone enlighten me??

Issues with Plum
I just wanted to post this for info for anyone considering a Plum Cash ISA. I'm new to ISAs, opening my first late last year, and my second this year. I wanted something that pays interest monthly as I may need to take that money out short notice (house hunting) and opted for the MSE recommended Plum Cash ISA with a 5.17%…

Hi, I have a Chip cash ISA and have been trying to put in a transfer request via their app to move in in money from another ISA of mine that’s recently matured, but I keep getting the following error message - “A 400 error was returned for this endpoint.” I have emailed the Chip support team about this but there’s been no…

Feedback on Trading 212
I'm considering "Bed and ISA" for some US Shares I own. I am comparing the total cost for £20k over 4 years as an example - monthly fees, trade cost, FX fees - and Trading 212 seems to be way cheaper than anyone else (£30 compared with £298 -£543, and more). Feels like a red flag, but searching the forum the comments seem…

Shawbrook Bank Maturing Fixed ISA Options
Just a quick query for those with a Shawbrook Bank Fixed ISA that has matured in the past/recently and who are using the new "improved" online interface. By way of a quick background, my Fixed ISA matures within 30 days and I noticed on the Shawbrook online interface that I now have a link underneath my account stating…

Trading 212 ISA
Hi, I am looking at trading 212 ISA with 5.2%. I assume this is variable and can be changed at any time? Assuming they get SONIA rate, this has now dropped from 5.2% to 4.95% as of 01.08 Is it likely that they drop the rate? Dont want to bother in transferring over if so as I have fixed 5% till end of this year... Any…

Isa transfer due in September.
Hello. I've currently have a 1 year fixed ISA 5.45%, which is due to mature in late Sep. I was looking at virgin money 1 year fixed at 5.05%. Do you think it's a good deal, or maybe should l go for a 2 year fix instead? Any recommendations on the provider would be helpful.

Zopa Flexible Easy Access ISA
Needing clarification of ISA rules please? I've put £5000 in Zopa Flexible EA ISA for this year 24/25. I've put remaining £15000 allowance into a fixed ISA with another provider. I understand that with the Zopa Flexible EA ISA I can take out and put back (up to £5000) for this financial year. My query really relates to…

ISA rules confusion
Apologies if this has been asked already, I've had a good search of the forums and was still confused! Is it possible to have more than £20k in ISAs? I have a fixed rate ISA for 2 years with £20k in it (opened last tax year) can I then put another £20k into a different fixed rate ISA in this tax year? Any guidance on this…

Trading 212 - terms and conditions
I have looked to open a Trading 212 Cash ISA. It rightly asks me to confirm I've read and agreed to the terms and conditions. To be perfectly honest, I've ploughed through the 49 plus pages and most if it means absolutely nothing to me. Are there any 'red flags' I should look out for when considering this?
