Hi
Quick question, I have a isa with Leeds that's easy access with interest paid after 12 months, I have decided to go fixed with rates slowly falling but wondering if I transfer out what happends to any interest if I'm not paid it after 12 months? Do I get a potion of that on transfer out or none at all as I've not left the money in until next Oct 25
Thanks in advance
Dave

You will get interest for the time the money has been in the account.Dave05 said:Hi

You'll need to look at the T&C's for your particular product, but most likely it will be that interest is calculated daily and paid annually. When you close your account by transferring it to a new provider, any interest accrued to-date should also be paid.

Yes, they will pay you interest up until the day you transfer the account, adding it to the total amount transferred.1

Of course if you then go to a fixed term product and withdraw that early, you will get hit with a penalty.1
